To: Whom it May Concern
From: Prof. Deryl Gulliford RRT, MHA, FAAMA
CEO – Northwest Oklahoma Healthcare Consortium
Distinguished Faculty of Healthcare Administration
I am writing to provide a reference for Mathew Torres, a student who is completing the Health
Care Administration program at Columbia Southern University. Mathew has worked very hard
in our program, learned a great deal in the process, and I consider him to be well qualified for
a position in healthcare management at this time.
Mathew is professionally involved in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is
benefitting from his association with other leaders in the medical field through ACHE, and also
through student-faculty outreach at the university.
Mathew has demonstrated leadership, strong desire to learn, capacity for critical thinking, and
key insights into the issues presented in our program. He will be a motivated, excellent
healthcare professional in my view, and with strong human relations skills. He is definitely at
the top of his class academically in our program at CSU.
Mathew’s other strengths include creativity and rapport with others. His background includes
diverse leadership experiences in healthcare and related capacities. I note his special expertise
in the areas of Materials Management and Human Resource Administration, two essential
aspects of healthcare management today.
In short, I can strongly recommend Mathew to you for a management opportunity within your
organization.
Please feel free to call if you have any questions or need additional information about this
candidate.
