Please consider my candidacy for the homecare Social Worker position at the Visiting Nurses
Association of Rhode Island. I was referred to this opportunity through the Medical Team
Clinical Manager at the VNA.
As a clinical psychology major entering my senior year, I have participated in coursework
relevant to conquer a position at the VNA. I have gained a valuable experience in psychology
such as social, adolescent, abnormal, and human sexuality. During my senior year of high
school, I was able to previously work with the VNA once a week visiting homes of patients, and
understanding the type of work a social worker may be involved with.
Enclosed for your review, please find my resume. I am available to begin a Homecare Social
Work position at the beginning of summer, 2016. I am therefore able to fulfill my hour’s
necessary on Mondays and Wednesdays.
