Reflection
In this lesson I teach students about drawing for children. At the begging of the class I
check the attendance. Then I gave them a rules of the carpet area and I move them to
their. I play with them moving game to discover the topic of our lesson they move
around the class to find a topic. Then I ask them some questions it they know any
program similar for this? Do you like drawing? Who will draw for me in the board? Then
I explain for them the tools of drawing for children tools bar and show them how to use
this program with use a projector for all students. After that I tell them to back to seat
and log on, open then program and start to drawing. When they finish the class I give
them homework to use the program at home.
Strength things I do it in this lesson, I used good manners with students I was very
confident and calm when I teach them. I used a good voice control them and gave them
clear rules, also when I begging my lesson with games to discover the topic. I used
language with students Arabic and English when I explain the program and the
instructions. I used positive reinforcement strategy for students who applied the rules
and their work I give for them. According to Harmer’s said, positive reinforcement for
students that will motivating them during the class and will improve their skills. (Harmer,
J. 2006)
In the next lesson I will be more confident, I will use different way to manage students
more, I will choose different activities to make the class fun for them.
