Public Relations at Georgia
Southern University, where I
am a member of a national
organization Kappa Kappa
Gamma. I have held
numerous leadership
positions in this
organization, and have
learned networking, people
skills, and time management.
I am knowledgeable on
multiple social media tools.
People would describe me as
a people person, a hard
worker, organized, and being
highly professional.

3. I like taking the MBTI to see what my calculated personality is, and what it’s
advantages and disadvantages are. One challenge the MBTI showed me is
that I tend to make decisions to please others, and the suggested strategy
was to think about my goals before making decisions. A lot of my suggested
jobs had to do with dealing with people which showed me I am on the right
career path as a Public Relations major. Community and social services

4. PUBLIC RELATIONS
Public Relations is a major
under the college of liberal
arts and social sciences. It is
the professional maintenance
of a favorable public
image by a company or other
organization or a famous
person.
I can read people easily and know how to promote people, companies, or
objects
I have taken my intro to PR course and have become close with Lisa Muller, a
PR graduate and Lawyer. Through this class I have also met Thersa Duggar,
my career development specialist

6. REFLECTION AND SELF-
ASSESSMENT
I learned a lot in this course. I
learned about myself; my
strengths and my weaknesses,
and I learned more about how
to be prepared for the career
path I have chosen. This class
has made me more organized
and helped with my time
management, and learn more
about the resources that I have
at hand. I have improved in all
of these areas and surprised
myself with how well I did in
this course. If I could do it all
again, there isn’t much I would
do differently except make my
friends who could use some of
these resources take the class
with me
