Paychex
1.
2. Paychex is the tool that CDP uses to pay you every two weeks. Definitely a system that you should get familiar with
then, eh?
It's relatively simple to set up and monitor. Every two weeks, on Pay Day Friday, CDP will directly deposit your
paycheck into the bank account(s) you've organized with Ken to receive your plentiful bounty. Paychex gives you the
ability to see your entire history of pay days, paychecks, and all other pay related documents for record purposes
and the like. So with that, let's delve in!
To start, go to www.paychexonline.com and click Sign Up.
3. The Personal Information section will appear, which you must fill out
completely and accurately. Click Continue.
Next you must enter any information pertaining to this new Paychex account, such
as a username, password, and security questions. Click Continue. Once this
registration process is complete, you'll be automatically logged into Paychex itself.
4. Now, once this is complete, the login process
becomes fairly straightforward. Going back to the
original www.paychexonline.com, enter your
username into the designated spot and click Next.
It will then ask for your password on a
separate window, so go ahead and enter
that then press Next.
Sometimes, inbetween the username and
password pages, a page will appear that will ask
for a verification code that it will send to you via
phone or email, whichever you have on file.
5. If this happens, simply go to the received text or email, get the number code, and enter it into the designated blank
within the 5minute time period (the code expires after that time). Hit Next and it will then take you to the password
page, and everything's normal from there.
Once logged in, you will automatically be directed to the Dashboard. This serves as your homepage, and contains several
useful shortcuts.
First are your Check Stubs. This shows you a little timeline of pay days and periods. Click on the blue View All button.
This will pop up another window that will
show you all check dates and the net pay
you received for each one.
6. There are also your Tax Documents. While I have none to show, this is where any
important tax documents such as filings, 401K plans, and the like.
On the left hand side of the screen is the navigation menu. Click on User Account.
This has two primary categories: General and
Security. General is, predictably, your general
information, such as name, date of birth,
address, phone number, and other basics.
7. Next in the navigation menu is Employee.
This section has the most categories, as it focuses
on your personal information as connected to CDP.
Security pertains to your personal account on Paychex. It includes your username and
password, security questions, and PIN. If you ever need to change anything, simply click
on the blue Edit button in the appropriate section that you wish to edit.
8. The first category, Personal, is straightforward and has pretty much
the same information as the General category of User Account.
Next is Time Off.
This is for those who are fulltime employees and
therefore have Paid Time Off (PTO). This section will
highlight CDP's policies regarding PTO, as well as any PTO
you use.
Bank Accounts shows you the accounts that are receiving
your direct deposit paycheck.

9. You can divide your paycheck between as many
accounts as you like, and determine how much of
each paycheck goes into each via either a certain
percentage of your paycheck, or a specific dollar
amount.
Next, click on Taxes.
This shows how much of your paycheck is being
used for federal and state taxes, as well as your
marital status, residency, and pother pertinent
information used for your taxes.
Compensation shows you your pay type, amount,
and frequency of pay.

10. And lastly in this section, Deductions.
This just shows you if any deductions concerning taxes or any other type
are associated with your CDP account and if so, for what and how much.
Now, back in the navigation menu, comes Benefits Summary. This section
is dedicated to any and all benefits you're eligible to receive as a CDPeep.
One example of this is the 401K plan, which will be highlighted under the
blue Eligibility icon.

11. 136
This is the main hub for all things retirement related, including 401K plans, information on your
loans, withdrawals, and much more.
And that’s all there is to it! Feel free to ask anyone if you have any questions, and definitely feel
free to explore, update your information, and make yourself at home. :)
If you ever need questions answered about retirement
benefits, Paychex's Retirement Services number and
email is in the upper right corner under Support.
And lastly comes the final section in the navigation
bar: Retirement Services.
