• United States' Professional sporting leagues carry much influence
throughout the world
• the three most profitable sports leagues are based in the united

• When baseball was booming with popularity,
major league baseball sent several popular
players to japan.
• In 1934, several American baseball stars such as
babe ruth and lou Gehrig took a trip to japan to
