To Whom It May Concern
Mark is an exceptionally talented young man who is strongly motivated
to achieve success. His unparalleled work ethic and humili-ty combined
with his intelligence and insightful mind have created a learner who can
be relied upon to give of his best at all times. This enthusiasm and
determination to succeed have enabled Mark to derive maximum benefit
from his time at Port shepstone High school. His resultant
outstanding academic performance earned him the school,s highest
award of Academic Honours in both his Grade 11 year and his-Matric
year.
We have appreciated Mark's service and loyalty to the school as a valued
member of the Executive'Learners' Councit. Uis responsible attitude and
sensible and compassionate approach to this difficult role enabled him to
deal with situations with honesty, directness and diplomacy. Flis teader-
ship skills and his deep concern for others was recognized'by his peers
who voted for him as their representative on the Representative Council
of Learners in Grades 9 and 10. without question, Mark has been
an effective and respected member of the school community in which
both staff and his peers have appreciated his high moral vafues and his
integrity.
Mark has also enjoyed the school's extra-curricular programme which
qayg him the opportunity to showcase his diverse talents, On the sports-
field, he has played 2nd team hockey and water-polo since Grade 10,
making the 1st team in 2009, his Matric year. It was his decision to
audition for the school play in his Matric year and play one of the leading
roles that showed us what an incredibly enterprising young man Mark is.
I have felt privileged to have taught Mark for the last two years. His calm
and thoughtful demeanour and his ready good humour mal<e him a
popular and valued member of the 2009 Matric group. He has matured
into a sensitive and dignified young adult who will be an asset to any
organization which is fortunate enough to have him on their staff.
I wish him every success in his future career.
