Lt Cdr (R) M Omer Naqi
Pakistan Navy
Having completed his early education at Cadet College Kohat. Lieutenant Commander (Const)
M Omer Naqi joined Pakistan Navy in Dec 99. He was awarded Chairman JCSC Gold Medal for
being the best cadet during the training tenure and than received Academy Dirk for being runner
up Midshipman. Commissioned in Marine engineering Branch he completed his BE Mechanical
with flying colors and joined the PN Fleet where he gained competency level of an engineering
officer and served as Deputy Engineering Officer onboard Ddg 185 PNS Tipu Sultan A Type 21 class
ship. Later for displaying outstanding performance over the years he was selected to complete his
Masters in Naval Architecture from Harbin Engineering University in China. After which he served
in Submarine Maintenance Department, Submarine Construction Department, Ship Rebuild and
Construction Department and Karachi Shipyard and Engineering works in various capacities. He
has recently joined Star Links School as Director and we have high hopes that Star Links School
would prosper under his leadership, Insha’Allah.

Your school is the institution you owe so much to, and I being a
Star Linker owe even more.
I am among the last batch for the session 2018-19 and undoubtedly
the past 7 years in this tremendous school were mesmerizing.
Starting up from academics, ending up as a Protector. As
compared to other well known schools STAR LINKS SCHOOL might
be not that magnificent in it's name but the environment it has so
far provided I can confidently say others are still struggling with.
As I look back today, my heart is gratified as for what my teachers
have transformed me into; more confident, more competent and
of course more humble. I feel honoured for being a part of Star
Links School and will treasure it always in the years to come.
Our students are our assets. We have a blend of Star Linkers coming in
from varying mindset, adding their own colour to the big canvas we

I had lived in Rahim Yar Khan throughout my childhood. When we
moved to Karachi for good, my parents started searching for a
compatible school for me, to continue my studies. A school with
Islamic norms, a school with devoted teachers who’d not only
teach the curriculum but also polish moral values, a school that
will create opportunities for me to groom my hidden skills and
overcome my weaknesses. With the blessing of Almighty, I got
admission in Star Links- my dream school. And since then this
institution has given me so much that I’ll fail to encompass. It has
taught me the purpose of life as a practicing Muslim and
equipped me with competencies essential for success in the
emerging world. It offered me a platform to groom my
confidence and become useful to the society. In few words, Star
Links School doesn’t only unleash the talent of the genius but also
works hard to encourage the slow and weaker ones to attain their

A merger of Islamic learning with modern education
Star Links School holds the credits of integrating
Islamic norms and values in the modern scholastic
education. To serve the purpose, form Junior
Montessori till grade 8, regular Hifz o Nazra sessions
are designed.
At elementary level, students are introduced to the
Arabic alphabetical order and their pronunciation.
Initially, Nazra is thought via Qaida and by the time a
student reaches grade 8, he has covered almost half of
the Holy Qura’n. Along with this, Amma Para is
memorized by the students side by side. Furthemore,
to support the ongoing efforts for ethical training:
Ahadith, prayers, kalimaa, Asmaa ul husna, Asmaul
Muhaammad and Salah are made a part of the
curriculum. Arabic language conventions are also
taught to beautify the recitation style of the students.

Arabic Language
Arabic language is one of the most spoken language in the world.
Moreover, to understand Holy Quran to its core, understanding the
language it speaks, is inevitable. Keeping this in view, Star Links
School has incorporated Arabic as a compulsory subject with
Islamiyat in its curriculum. In a Cambridge system, such an
opportunity is an exception. The syllabus for this has been compiled
with the combined efforts of language experts here at Star Links
School. Authentic Ahadith and Arabic books have been consulted
for reference.
At the beginner level, students learn Arabic alphabets and basic vocabulary for daily use
i.e. names of fruits, vegetables, animals etc. From grade I till grade III, pronouns are
introduced and their use is reinforced in sentences via worksheets. Translation from
Arabic to English is also practiced and extended vocabulary is provided as the level
increases. Eventually, upon reaching grade IV, a strong base for Arabic language is already
developed. It is then further polished in the following grades. From grade IV till VIII,
students are trained to use affirmative and interrogative sentences. They’re also
familiarized with prepositions and verbs usage. This finally makes students enable to
compose a paragraph on their OWN, in Arabic language.

Hifz o Nazra project
Hifz o Nazra program is a distinctive feature of Star Links
School system. This program is initiated to provide a
platform to those parents who desire to have their
children memorize the Holy Quran along with regular
studies. This set up is launched to create an atmosphere,
where a child doing Hifz, can be equally facilitated with co-
curricular activities like, Taekwondo, Skating and Robotics
etc. To maintain the level of quality education, number of
students per Hifz class is not very high. This guarantees
individual attention for each student from the teacher.
Prior to the admissions, a set of rules is duly signed by
parents. This is to ensure their mutual and constant
support during the memorization time. The generalized
criteria, set up for memorization at different level is as
follows:
In the previous sessions,

have completed their Hifz of
Holy Quran. In the following
year, three more students are
expected to achieve this goal.

In order to develop confidence
and gain excellence in recitation
of Quran, competitions are held
annually among the students of
Senior Montessori, till grade VIII.
At first in Round 1, a thoughtfully
selected surah is assigned to each
grade level for every student to
prepare and memorize. It is then
judged for the final selection for
intonations, recitation style and
confidence. In round 2, the
selected students compete for
positions. Parents are also invited
in the final round ceremony. The
position holders are then
awarded with certificates and
shields.

  • 2. We are committed in creating an education medium through which our unrivalled cultural, social and religious values are imparted to our generation. To provide a resourceful amalgamation of intelligent thought, self- analyzing and a shell breaker to the students; so they excel in the society , maintaining their own individual identity.   • 3. I believe that Allah SWT has gifted every individual in this world with some special ability and talent. Especially the young kids are like seeds and saplings. They need the right environment and grooming to grow in to a strong and fruitful tree. Star Links School endeavors to nurture these young souls so they can find a meaningful purpose of life within their Islamic Identity and fulfill their destiny as a true practicing Muslims and serve this country as a responsible citizen and Proud Pakistani. Lt Cdr (R) M Omer Naqi Pakistan Navy Having completed his early education at Cadet College Kohat. Lieutenant Commander (Const) M Omer Naqi joined Pakistan Navy in Dec 99. He was awarded Chairman JCSC Gold Medal for being the best cadet during the training tenure and than received Academy Dirk for being runner up Midshipman. Commissioned in Marine engineering Branch he completed his BE Mechanical with flying colors and joined the PN Fleet where he gained competency level of an engineering officer and served as Deputy Engineering Officer onboard Ddg 185 PNS Tipu Sultan A Type 21 class ship. Later for displaying outstanding performance over the years he was selected to complete his Masters in Naval Architecture from Harbin Engineering University in China. After which he served in Submarine Maintenance Department, Submarine Construction Department, Ship Rebuild and Construction Department and Karachi Shipyard and Engineering works in various capacities. He has recently joined Star Links School as Director and we have high hopes that Star Links School would prosper under his leadership, Insha’Allah. 2

  • 5. Your school is the institution you owe so much to, and I being a Star Linker owe even more. I am among the last batch for the session 2018-19 and undoubtedly the past 7 years in this tremendous school were mesmerizing. Starting up from academics, ending up as a Protector. As compared to other well known schools STAR LINKS SCHOOL might be not that magnificent in it's name but the environment it has so far provided I can confidently say others are still struggling with. As I look back today, my heart is gratified as for what my teachers have transformed me into; more confident, more competent and of course more humble. I feel honoured for being a part of Star Links School and will treasure it always in the years to come. Our students are our assets. We have a blend of Star Linkers coming in from varying mindset, adding their own colour to the big canvas we have; and finally merging and molding beautifully together.   • 6. I had lived in Rahim Yar Khan throughout my childhood. When we moved to Karachi for good, my parents started searching for a compatible school for me, to continue my studies. A school with Islamic norms, a school with devoted teachers who’d not only teach the curriculum but also polish moral values, a school that will create opportunities for me to groom my hidden skills and overcome my weaknesses. With the blessing of Almighty, I got admission in Star Links- my dream school. And since then this institution has given me so much that I’ll fail to encompass. It has taught me the purpose of life as a practicing Muslim and equipped me with competencies essential for success in the emerging world. It offered me a platform to groom my confidence and become useful to the society.   • 7. Star Links School got registered with Robotics team 2 years back. Since then, the team has conducted numerous sessions to empower students to create and rebuild. A spacious playground is a multi- purpose vicinity. Assembly programs, sports and prayer area; all above one ground! 6
  • 8. Sir Tahir- the skating man, has been a source of immense pleasure and entertainment for Stalinkers. Terrific Taekwondo is a special training session for both girls and boys at Star Links School, aimed at physical well-being of students. 7
  • 9. Separate libraries for Pre-primary and Secondary are a great source of knowledge for students and teachers alike. Senior and Junior Montessori are the best places here to reminisce childhood memories. Decorated walls and accessories add to the beauty of this little palace. 8
  • 10. A merger of Islamic learning with modern education Star Links School holds the credits of integrating Islamic norms and values in the modern scholastic education. To serve the purpose, form Junior Montessori till grade 8, regular Hifz o Nazra sessions are designed. At elementary level, students are introduced to the Arabic alphabetical order and their pronunciation. Initially, Nazra is thought via Qaida and by the time a student reaches grade 8, he has covered almost half of the Holy Qura’n. Along with this, Amma Para is memorized by the students side by side. Furthemore, to support the ongoing efforts for ethical training: Ahadith, prayers, kalimaa, Asmaa ul husna, Asmaul Muhaammad and Salah are made a part of the curriculum. Arabic language conventions are also taught to beautify the recitation style of the students. We take pride in our faculty, whose tireless efforts has made it possible. 9
  • 11. Dear parents, Arabic Language Arabic language is one of the most spoken language in the world. Moreover, to understand Holy Quran to its core, understanding the language it speaks, is inevitable. Keeping this in view, Star Links School has incorporated Arabic as a compulsory subject with Islamiyat in its curriculum. In a Cambridge system, such an opportunity is an exception. The syllabus for this has been compiled with the combined efforts of language experts here at Star Links School. Authentic Ahadith and Arabic books have been consulted for reference. At the beginner level, students learn Arabic alphabets and basic vocabulary for daily use i.e. names of fruits, vegetables, animals etc. From grade I till grade III, pronouns are introduced and their use is reinforced in sentences via worksheets. Translation from Arabic to English is also practiced and extended vocabulary is provided as the level increases. Eventually, upon reaching grade IV, a strong base for Arabic language is already developed. It is then further polished in the following grades. From grade IV till VIII, students are trained to use affirmative and interrogative sentences. They’re also familiarized with prepositions and verbs usage. This finally makes students enable to compose a paragraph on their OWN, in Arabic language. 10 Star Links School has its salient features, which outshines it in the line of other institutions. Grade Target KG 2 Takhti no. 1-5 I Complete Qaida II Nazra of last 5 para, memorization of last 2 III Memorization of 8 paras in total IV Memorization of 12 paras in total V Memorization of 8 paras and girdaan Hifz o Nazra project Hifz o Nazra program is a distinctive feature of Star Links School system. This program is initiated to provide a platform to those parents who desire to have their children memorize the Holy Quran along with regular studies. This set up is launched to create an atmosphere, where a child doing Hifz, can be equally facilitated with co- curricular activities like, Taekwondo, Skating and Robotics etc. To maintain the level of quality education, number of students per Hifz class is not very high. This guarantees individual attention for each student from the teacher. Prior to the admissions, a set of rules is duly signed by parents. This is to ensure their mutual and constant support during the memorization time. The generalized criteria, set up for memorization at different level is as follows: In the previous sessions, Alhumdulillah, three students have completed their Hifz of Holy Quran. In the following year, three more students are expected to achieve this goal. 11

Quran recitation competition In order to develop confidence and gain excellence in recitation of Quran, competitions are held annually among the students of Senior Montessori, till grade VIII. At first in Round 1, a thoughtfully selected surah is assigned to each grade level for every student to prepare and memorize. It is then judged for the final selection for intonations, recitation style and confidence. In round 2, the selected students compete for positions. Parents are also invited in the final round ceremony. The position holders are then awarded with certificates and shields. 12
