galaxy.

many in the Milky Way Galaxy.

our solar system
is the Sun. The
Sun is a medium
sized star.

11. Our solar system has 8 planets
revolving around the Sun.

12. The 4 inner
planets are
called
terrestrial
planets. The
4 outer
planets are
called gas
giants.

13. We live on the 3rd planet from the
Sun.
Earth is a terrestrial
planet. Terrestrial
planets have solid
surfaces.

Earth is often
called the Blue
Planet due to the
vast amount of
water on its
surface.
