• Used Excel to develop master file
macros for weekly CISM reports,
summary income statements, Level 10
income statements, and a monthly
release forecast.
• Great new skill that I learned! This will
definitely help me in my future.

• cbFC Management Meeting
• My mentor and I worked on updating a
PowerPoint for a weekly cbFC
management meeting every
Wednesday.
• I extracted data from a RFC tracker for
a RFC report in Excel and used this
data to update the weekly Hot Topics
from each previous week’s cbFC
meeting into the PowerPoint.
• Once completed, I attended the
meetings and recorded minutes along
with my mentor. These minutes were
then recorded into the PowerPoint and
distributed to the attendees.
• Each meeting included the E4s of our
department, a couple of E4s in Portland,
occasionally our E3 (Mario Sewald), and our
E2 (Bernhard Mader.) I was able to witness
how critical issues were strategically
discussed and resolved among each
attendee. It was interesting to see the
interaction among different levels of
management.
• This project greatly increased my skills with
Excel. At first it was challenging, but with the
help of my mentor and along with doing some
research, each week went better than before.
I also learned a new word, “minutes.”

• Revising/Creating HOW TO instructions
• For this task I revised an estimated 45
instructions in Microsoft Word and
updated them into the new format for
the Finance department.
• After this task was completed, I met
with my E4 (Melinda Jones) and
distributed the first set to the
designated owner for a final approval.
• This task wasn’t my favorite, but I learned a
few new methods on how to format a word
document. I have been able to use these new
methods in assignments I have had to
complete for school.

• Invoices/Documents for SAP
• With this task I helped three of the
team department members by first
scanning and then uploading invoice
documents and vendor records to
SAP.
• Before uploading the documents, I
placed barcodes on most of them and
entered the barcodes into SAP in
order for the documents to be placed
properly when scanned in. I eventually
updated the HOW TO instruction on
how to scan/upload.
• The amount of documents uploaded
• This task helped me with learning about SAP.
The best benefit was being able to help my
team members.

Team Building Event
• As a team building project we
volunteered at West Alabama
Food Bank in Tuscaloosa for
an estimated three hours.
• We helped to sort, organize,
and package various non-
perishable items including
food and toiletries.
• Afterwards, there was a
catered luncheon held at
Alabama Credit Union for all
team members.

• Mrs. Misty has been very helpful throughout this
internship, I have thoroughly enjoyed being her
mentee. I admire her professionalism and her
dedication to her career, it has been very inspiring.

Farewell
My overall experience at MBUSI has
been very positive. I have thoroughly
enjoyed being an intern and look
forward to using the skills I learned at
MBUSI in my future.
