SECOND TERM WORK
There must be a hospitality business in your neighbourhood.
Now you are going to work as if the owner of that business were thinking to close it
and you to buy it.
Therefore, you must be willing to start up your own business. You have to imagine
that you have decided to go and have a talk with him. You are very much interested in
it so you have asked him to meet together. After hard discussions you both finally
reached an agreement so you purchased the enterprise.
From now on you yourself are the unique owner of that enterprise about which you
know how handling it quite well.
You have been daydreaming a lot about your own business and the new reforms you
would incorporate. Because of your experience having worked in several and similar
enterprises before, you have saved 19.000€ that you will invest on your new start up.

PREPARE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS:
- 1. What kind of business is it? (You have to use a real business that it could be
in your neighbourhood or further away).
o Then, describe the services you will offer.
o Set up the possible number of tables.
o How many workers would you have to hire?
- 2. What would be the name of your new business? (Denominación Social)
- 3. Describe the possible reforms you are planning to do, as you have money to
do so (decoration, bathrooms, installations, devices, furniture, equipment, etc)
and bring a budget with it.
- 4. DOCUMENTS
- A) Design the logo for your new business. You will also need a proper
letterhead for it (pay attention to this document, it has its own logo and
letterhead, use it as a model). It is important to choose the right legal form of
your Spanish business: autonomous, S.L., S.A., S.L.L., S.A.L., Soc. Coop., etc. It
will be the possible “carta commercial”. (Documento a usar como Carta
Comercial).
- B) SECOND DOCUMENT: design your own type of empty sale receipt, but in
Spanish. (UN MODELO DE FACTURA VACIO CON EL LOGO Y MEMBRETE
INCORPORADO).
- C) THIRD DOCUMENT: hoja de Comanda vacía.
- D) FOURTH DOCUMENT: utiliza el Microsoft Office Publisher y diseña tu tarjeta
de presentación.
- E) FIFTH DOCUMENT: TABLA CON TODAS LAS FORMAS JURÍDICAS DE EMPRESA,
incluyendo las siguientes características de cada una de ellas: responsabilidad,
denominación social, capital mínimo, número mínimo de socios, fiscalidad.
