So God created man in his own image.
Session 1/7
Marco Lafebre, Leader.
Genesis 1:1 In The beginning God created
the heavens and the earth
GOD
7 And the LORD God
formed man of the dust of the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living soul.
And the Lord God formed man
of the dust of the ground,
Body

And breathed into his nostrils the breath
of life;
Body Spirit

AND MAN BECAME A LIVING SOUL.

There is a spiritual battle taking place even right
now for your thoughts, and for controlling
them.
It’s not hard to discern who will won the battle
for your mind.
If your old man is unhealed and active, then
your thoughts will be controlled and affected
by your sinful and painful past.
Guilt, shame, rejection, unworthiness will keep
feeding your painful memories.
As a consequence of this memories, your
negative emotions will be constantly erupting.
By the contrary, if the old man was put to dead,
godly and healthy thoughts will flood your
mind.
When your heart is healed then your thoughts
will be full of God’s nature.
Then is easily understandable that the spiritual
force that controls your thoughts, will control
your life.
So we know now why there is an intense battle
between the forces of Light and Darkness to
control your mind.
Satan will come time after time with his best
looking to influence and take control of your
thoughts.
He knows how to feed your old nature to stay
alive, and your new self suppressed.
We as humans have that condition to choose
what to think and what to believe.
God gave us free will, so we may not come
forced to love him, but we may come to him
with a hear filled with love and thanksgiving.
But God who loves us unconditionally puts holy
thoughts in our minds.
He gives us discernment to know what is best
for us under every circumstance of our life.
He gave us his Holy Spirit to help us and remind
us what Jesus has thought.
Meditate on These Things
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true,
whatever things are noble, whatever
things are just, whatever things are pure,
whatever things are lovely, whatever
things are of good report, if there is any virtue
and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate
on these things. 9 The things which you learned
and received and heard and saw in me, these
do, and the God of peace will be with you.
John 8:12 (NKJV)
12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am
the light of the world. He who follows Me shall
not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
God doesn’t want us to walk in darkness, he
gave us HIS Son who is the light of the world.
Living Sacrifices to God
12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the
mercies of God, that you present your bodies a
living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which
is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be
conformed to this world, but be transformed by
the renewing of your mind, that you may prove
what is that good and acceptable and perfect
will of God.
Spirit
Soul
Body
The spirit of Adam who was in communion with
the Spirit of God was the Master of his life.
His soul was a steward.
And his body was a servant.
Both, soul and body were dead to self and
submitted to the Spirit.
All the three parts of Adam were acting in
unison with one single purpose: To fellowship
with God.
Spirit
Soul
Body
The human spirit was damaged in the fall.
When Adam sinned, his ability to fellowship
with God was broken; he did not die physically
that day, but he died spiritually.
Fear shame and guilt invaded his soul.
Since this event, the human spirit has borne the
effects of the fall.
Now with the spiritual death there was a total
reverse.
The spirit became servant.
The soul continued to be a steward.
But now the Body become the master.
Body and soul now dominate the weak spirit
and look to the devil, the world and the flesh.
Spirit
Soul
Body
Uses the physical senses to entice the soul of
man to sin.
He uses as well the soul, the imagination, the
emotions, feelings to sin.
When the soul sins, the Holy Spirit is Quenched,
is grieved.
The body is intensified.
Spirit
Soul
Body
The Spirit is suppressed.
The Soul is completely dedicated to fulfil the
desires of the flesh.
The flesh or body is satisfied in its desires.
But the flesh desires more and more and the
flesh becomes the master of the human being.
Spirit
Soul
Body
So what you will choose?
Before salvation, a person is characterized as
spiritually “dead” (Ephesians 2:1-5; Colossians
2:13).
A relationship with Christ revitalizes our spirits
and renews us day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16).
Spirit
Soul
Body
Holy Spirit
and Spirit
Soul
Body
He starts to work in the human spirit, then He
continues to the soul to illuminate his mind by
means of His Holy Spirit and the written word.
He stirs his emotions with the intention of
causing him to exercise his will over the desires
of his body.
This leads the man to a continue yielding to the
work of the Holy Spirit in him, and to disregard
the desires of the flesh.
HOLY SPIRIT
And Spirit
Soul
Body
Holy Spirit
And Spirit
Soul
Body
The body is suppressed, the five senses have no
power to become the master.
The mind, will and emotions look to the spirit
who is fed by the Holy Spirit and fulfill God’s
desires, as they are sanctified day by day.
The Spirit, conscience, intuition and communion
are intensified.
Holy Spirit
And Spirit
Soul
Body
Holy Spirit
And Spirit
Soul
Body
God the father,
The Holy Spirit, and
The Word
Are spiritual
And eternal.
There is a Spiritual
kingdom that will last for
ever.
Join this Kingdom and you
will eternally leave.
Satan,
The flesh, and
The world,
Are carnal
And temporal.
The carnal kingdom is
temporary and won’t last
for ever.
Join this kingdom and you
will eternally die.
God is spirit,
So consequently he speaks to the Holy Spirit
who is living in our spirit.
He speaks by His Words, and by
Divine revelation.
Our spirit transfer the revelation to our soul.
Where we decide what to think and what to do.
The world is natural and physical.
Our body is natural and physical.
The body receives information from the senses.
The information is transferred to the souls.
Where we decide what to think and what to do.
What is the prophetic image in the two
following scriptures?
Genesis 2:7 (NKJV)
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and
breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a
living being.
John 20:22 (NKJV)
22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to
them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”
Father God we thank you for the transforming
work that you do in our spirits, souls and
bodies. We ask you Lord to day by day you
cause us to come to you, to yield to the call that
you put in our spirits. There is hunger rising up
within us to know more about you and to have
sweet intimacy with your Holy Spirit.
In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
