His cover letter is clear to follow as it follows the basis for a cover letter which can make it
easier to understand for the employer who is reading it. Such as “I am very interested”
which is what started the cover letter after addressing the reader. He then moves onto
answering the questions that are featured in the qualifications section of the job
description. For example he discussed his passion for media and film which is what the job is
based and this would please the employer. His cover letter is detailed but when discussing
his points about his strengths he does not expand on what he said and how it would help
the business. However he did explain how he has studied in media before and what
experience he has had before which would give the reader an understanding of what he has
done and also showed he read all of the job description. A weakness of the cover letter is
that he mainly says what he has in relation to the job qualifications rather just expanding on
his own qualities. His conclusion was a little brief when this should be the stage of the cover
letter where you evaluate your points and then convince the employer enough to want to
hire you and give you an interview.
