My Memoir
Eighth Grade Graduation
There are a lot of memories in my life; it has to do with vacations, contests, and fam-
ily. But, I feel that my best memory of all is my eighth grade graduation because that
was a time of me realizing that Iʼm growing up and that I needed to start thinking hard
about my life ahead of me. Also, on the graduating night, people had to write thank you
letters to your parents or teachers. I had wrote mine to my Mom and Dad and to my re-
source teacher. The letter to my parents had talked about helping me through school
and loving and supporting me through the good and the bad. The letter to my resource
teacher was to thank her for all her amazing help on getting me through a somewhat
weird world called school.
During that graduating night, I had talked to some people that I knew I wouldnʼt see
Career Presentation again for a while, and I wished them a very good luck and had also talked with some
people about what our lives would be like in high school. It was before the ceremony
had began and after all the conversations, I was ready to face the crowd and show them
that Iʼve made it through Rivergold Elementary School confidently and with pride. During
the ceremony, I walked through the grass feeling the pride swell in me. The pride was
telling me that I was ready for what life would throw at me, the pride had said, “Iʼll make
it through high school, Iʼll find what Iʼm looking for.” When I sat down in my seat on the

to know him well though, he is an awesome friend and an amazing
actor.
I have known Jessica Fisher since the beginning of the year. I thought it
was going to be hard getting to know her because she was shy. But, when
she started opening up, I wanted to be her friend. It was one of the best
decisions I ever made. She is like my t win.

over some fun assignments in drama and me transferring into her PE class we
became great friends. I am so happy to call Mallory my friend because she is a great
actress, she has fantastic endurance for her size in PE, and she is a worthy friend
who were curious to know dear Mallory. I love my sister and she is a great blessing
in my life." - Jesse Parr
