Fermentation – Scale up & Process Optimization
1. To carry out upstream and downstream processes of fermentation batches (bacterial,
yeast).
2. Experience in, scale up of yeast fermentation in shake flask – 3D shaker-
Fermenters (200ml to 150 L to 4 KL).
3. Having experience in inoculum development, media optimization & strain
improvement.
4. Scale up & process optimization of E.Coli AT 12
5. Process development for highest biomass production of E.Coli AT 12.
6. Supervision of Batch Charging, Media Sterilization, aseptic transfers.
7. Process Modeling, Monitoring & Statistical Data Analysis.
8. Operating equipment as per process need.
9. Expert hand at all utility works( Air pressure, Steam pressure, Vaccum, Chilling &
Cooling line), Probes , troubleshooting activities of experiments and investigation for
process Failure.
10.Follow up with service departments to get the job done in time

2. Biotransformation
1. Yeast fermentation experience includes, optimization of media and other parameters for
PAC production with the help of biotransformation of Benzaldehyde.

1. Probiotics production on lab scale in shake flask studies and fermentor.
2. Media optimization for spore forming bacteria.
3. Seed preparation, Sterility testing, pH and OD Checking, Direct microscopic
Count, Staining etc.
