Ace procrastination
1.
2. Expert procrastinator does not mean you’re the
BEST at procrastinating like we usually boats.
Instead let’s start changing our thought and
meaning of this phrase:
Expert Procrastinator – adjective: a person who is
takes control of their need and want to
procrastinate, a person who takes time to
understand themselves and why they are
avoiding “the task at hand” to better understand
themselves. This person is able to overcome this
feeling to procrastinate by taking care of their
underlying feeling towards the task or what the
task means.
3. Not quite, to overcome procrastination you
need to figure out what is leading you to do
so in the first place
◦ Are you nervous you won’t pass the test since you
didn't last time?
◦ Do your friends poke fun at you taking time to
study?
◦ Would you rather do what’s fun right now?
4. If that’s what you said to those scenarios (and
thought other things as well) Managing your time
will HELP YOU in beating your procrastination, it
does not beat it for you.
The idea of taking time to save time & Parkinsons
law:
◦ Following these two ideas will help you finish your work

some more time and effort in and I know I can
improve my next test grade”
5. And if not, I challenge you to start connecting
it all!
Let me start you off….
◦ Tapping into “fixed vs. growth mindset” can help
you change your thoughts of “I’m just going to fail
again” to “I need to study differently, and put some
more time and effort in and I know I can improve
my next test grade”
Now where can you find different study
strategies???????
