1. About GAVA
GAVA is a small charity with a big desire to help. Our
mission is to give hope to those who need it the most.
With your help, we are changing the lives of families
facing starvation and those who go for days without
eating a proper meal.
Food Deliveries
Our main program is the Nutrition Program, which
consists of a food delivery on the 15th of each
month. Each family participating in the GAVA Project
is provided basic food staples during the monthly
food delivery.
Goat Farms
The GAVA community now works collectively in
running the goat farm, with the hope of expanding
the farm to create a profitable business for the
community at large. Not only is the goat farm a
source of income for the community, the farms have
given the families a purpose whilst strengthening the
community bond between adults and children alike
as everyone works together for a common goal.
You can help!
We can´t change the world, but we can help some of
the chronically hungry. We think that is a cause worth
working for and with your help GAVA can provide a
solution to the immediate problem of hunger whilst
empowering these families to develop ways in which
to support themselves in the long term.
