Bangladesh has issued a Seamen Recruiting Agent in favor of our company named Moon Star
Crew Marine Agent. As a government approved agent presently, we are concern for crew
manning on board Ship in national and foreign flag Ships. Our company is well staffed with
highly experienced mariners, general professionals and also IT expert. We have modern
technology oriented well-built data base contains 1000 (one thousands) seafarers. Our company
has good links with our seafarers. We are able to provide highly competent seafarers in different
categories/ class with in very short time in any vessel in the globe. We work round the clock for
the interest and well faire of our seafarers and also for Safe, Secure and smooth operation of
Ships.
Our managing director has long seafaring experience and excellent connection with worldwide
shipping companies, Ship Management Company and Seafarers organisation indeed. We
maintain good relation and communication with concern government offices, non government
organisations and seafarers association. Our Company is quite aware about the welfare of the
Seafarers. We have knowledge and experience about the maritime labour laws and Maritime
labour Conventions MLC 2006 as well. We concentrate not only the welfare of the seafarers but
also maintain good communication with their family. We have link with government and non
government maritime institutions and able to arrange suggested courses of our principal for our
seafarers.

burden; rather it can be turned into an asset for a country if the people are provided with proper
education, training and become resourceful in different respects. Relying on that Moon Star has
come forward with its mission and vision for the best utilization of human resource and came in
to being as Manning Agent. Moon Star Crew Marine Agent started its journey by early 2014.
The prime objective of our company is to cooperate with world shipping industries providing
competent, healthy and international standard Bangladeshi seafarers on-board ships.
Bangladesh has a dedicated ministry for shipping deals with ports, shipping and maritime
activities. It has under its control Department of Shipping which is functioning as maritime
administration. The government has taken various initiatives for the development of the maritime
sectors especially human resource development. Mean while government has taken decision to
establish a maritime university and another 4 (four) marine academy in different parts of the
country and also has given approval to establish substantial number of private maritime

of crew members who will contribute in the international shipping domain. Moon Star Crew
Marine Agnet with its previous knowledge, experience and out standing connection with world
shipping arena will provide its utmost endeavor to arrange employment for Bangladeshi
Seafarers.

6. Business Activities
In the beginning of 2014 Moon Star Crew Marine Agent has come in to existence. Our corporate
office is located in the prime shipping business centre in the Port City of Chittagong and two
branch offices are established in another port city Mongla – Khulna and capital city Dhaka,
Bangladesh. Primarily, we Started Crew manning. All of our seafarers are well trained with
required courses as per full compliance with STCW’95. We provide extremely competent
seafarers in both at sea and ashore services. In consultation with our principal or shipping
company, or any other concern officers, we select crewmembers form our data base and strictly
screened their competency for the suggested vessels.
Our Managing Director is a mariner has many years on board experience and Crew manager also
well experienced. After receiving requisition from our principle we select crewmembers and
video conference interview was organized. If principal is satisfied with interview once
crewmember is selected other required formalities are being done. Then motivation and pre
joining briefing are performed by concerning officer of our company. After that crew members
are prepared to fly to reach the suggested port.
