Small and medium enterprises play a very crucial role in economic development of any country.
Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) is a Federal Government
Autonomous body working for the development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The
primary objective of SMEDA is to provide a fresh impetus to Pakistan’s Economy through
aggressive SME support programs.
SMEDA is organizing a one day workshop on “Export Finance & Long Term Finance Facility
For SMEs” at Mahnoor Hall, Pc Hotel Karachi on 17
th
December, 2014 from 09:30 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. The participants of the workshop are mainly business owners and employees from different
sectors. The purpose of this program is to guide them about this scheme and all related
documentation involved so that they will make most benefit from this scheme.
The key resource person of the workshop will be Mr. Sajjad Haider, Chief Executive and
Managing Director of Indus Euro International. Most of discussion in the workshop will focus
on the following areas: --
1. Export Finance Scheme
2. Pre Shipment Finance (EFS part 1)
3. Post Shipment Finance (EFS part II)
4. Long Term Finance Facility (LTFF)
5. Islamic Export Refinance Scheme
6. Exchange Risk and Payment Risk in Export
