Marko Petrovic graduated from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Economics in 1994 specializing in finance, banking and insurance. Since then he has held several financial and commercial roles in private companies in Serbia including as a trader, commercial specialist, finance manager, planning and economic department head, and is currently the finance director of a shoe production company. He has strong English language skills and experience in financial analysis, reporting, arrangements and international payments.

MARKO (TOMISLAV) PETROVIC
Personal Data/Education:
-I was born on June 3rd
1970 in Belgrade (Nationality: Serbia).
-I completed elementary and high schools in Belgrade (Majoring in the Foreign
Communications and Law).
-I graduated from The Faculty of Economics, The University of Belgrade on April 11th
1994 (with an average grade of 8,35); specialization: Finance, Banking and Insurance.
Work experience:
-From 06.06.1994. to 31.12.1995., I was employed with the private international
company UNIBROS STEEL CO. LTD., Limassol, Cyprus, as the Trader in steel trade
worldwide (contracts, L/Cs, bank bonds/drafts/guarantees, transport, etc).
-From 13.08.1996. until 01.02.1997., I was employed with DELHEM – BEOGRAD
(part of Delta Holding Co.) working as the Commercial Specialist in the sector of General
Chemistry (import and wholesale of motor and other oils).
-From 01.02.1997. until 21.06.1999., I was employed with JUGODRVO AD company
in Belgrade; first, as the Independent Commercial Specialist for Foreign Trade in the sectors
of Import, Specific Arrangements, and Re-export, performing foreign trade and specific
commercial transactions mostly in metals field. On 01.10.1998., I was assigned to the
Furniture sector, mainly on export of furniture, and later on I worked on the international
accounts payable and receivable across the company (as the Chief of Exchange Transactions
Department).
-From 01.04.2000. until 01.12.2000., I was employed with the private company
SKYLINK, BEOGRAD as the Finance Manager. I was handling company’s capital
transactions (settlements, payments, statements, etc) and a numbers of commercial activities
in transport and tourism sectors. Within the same period, I was the Business Associate with
BAZIS INZENJERING handling their financial affairs (international payments).
-From 21.06.1999. until 01.04.2000., and from 01.12.2000. to 01.08.2001., I was
employed with private company BAZIS INZENJERING, BEOGRAD (Belgrade) as the
Commercial Department Manager. I was working in the sector of foreign and domestic trade
(wholesale and retail), on the assignments particularly related to the building equipment,
machines, tools, and material.
-From 01.08.2001. until 03.02.2004., I was employed with international company
LUKOIL D.O.O., BEOGRAD. At first, on the position of a Planning Referee and later on as
the Chief of the Planning - Economic Department, as well as the Head of the Financial –
Planning – Economic Department.
Thereupon, I was handling different financial, commercial and investment (capital
expenditures) statements of account as well as reports across the company on both, regular
and non-regular basis (Plan & Fact); also, economic analyses, various calculations, etc. In
addition, I was responsible for financial arrangements (loans, bank drafts/guarantees, etc.).
2. -From 03.02.2004. until 11.06.2004., I was employed with international company
LUKOIL-BEOPETROL AD, BEOGRAD as the Chief of Planning - Economic Department. I
was performing the same job assignments as with LUKOIL D.O.O., BEOGRAD.
-From 12.06.2004. until 31.01.2005, I was employed with the foreign representative
office of SONEX INVESTMENTS in Belgrade, as the Financial Consultant, responsible for
all financial activities.
-From 01.02.2005., I was working in the private company BAZIS GRUPA d.o.o.,
Beograd (agency – foreign and domestic trade of building equipment, machines, tools and
materials); first, as the Executive Manager (General Manager’s Assistant) which was followed
by position of the Financial Manager where I was engaged on the duties of preparing financial
reports (Plan & Fact), stipulating and executing various financial arrangements (loans, bank
drafts/guarantees, etc.) as well as other financial and partially commercial transactions. I was
engaged as the Area Manager responsible for business units in Republic of Serbia and
independent enterprises (all ownership of Bazis Grupa) in Republic of Montenegro and
Republic Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina). I was engaged in the same company as Financial
advisor-manager, in various financial activities (credits, leasing arrangements, insurance, etc.),
as well as in property management for BAZIS GRUPA d.o.o. and daughter companies: BAZIS
INZENJERING d.o.o., BAZIS RENT d.o.o. and VOCAR UNION d.o.o. until 17.06.2012.
-From 18.06.2012. until 31.01.2015., I was working in Air Serbia Ground Services
Ltd. located on Belgrade Airport (former SU-PORT d.o.o., Belgrade) in Department Plan,
Ekonomika i Finansije (Financial Department) as a SENIOR FINANCIAL OFFICER
(Specialist for plan and analyses). I was handling different financial, commercial and
investment statements of account as well as reports across the company on both, regular and
non-regular basis (Plan & Fact); also, economic analyses, various calculations, all invoices,
scope of services analyses, etc. In addition, I was responsible for financial arrangements
(loans, leasing arrangements, banking guarantees, etc.) and international payments.
-From 01.02.2015., I am working in company KRIPY DOO, Trgoviste (shoe
production) as FINANCE DIRECTOR and I am responsible for all financial (financial-
economic and investment reports, payments, credit and leasing arrangements, controlling,
etc.) and commercial activities (prices, communication with partners, negotiations, etc.) in the
company. I still work in KRIPY DOO.
Languages / Other skills and abilities:
-I have a fluent verbal and written knowledge of English language; good knowledge of
Russian language; knowledge in properties; advanced knowledge in the field of PCs
(including Excel, Word, Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, etc.) and business
programs; I own a valid drivers license – “B” category; I attended various courses and
seminars in the field of finance in the country as well as abroad; etc.
