2010 – 2015 National Program Officer
Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) / Swiss Embassy in Serbia
National Program Officer for the broad range of governance issues: public administration reform,
Institutional support to the legislative branch (national parliament and local assemblies); justice sector
reforms; local governance and decentralization; improving local service delivery (public utilities and
municipal administration); inter municipal cooperation; regional and rural development; sub national
public finance management. Size of portfolio exceeds 20 million CHF. Also prepared public tenders
for mandates and back stopping for governance expertize issued by SDC.
Between 2010 and 2012 also supervised programs in the area of migration management carried out
by Serbian national authorities. The programs covered economic and social integration of refugees
and returnees. At a later stage, the programs also covered prevention of human trafficking and
asylum seekers protection.
2006 – 2010 National Coordinator/ Project Manager
Swiss Labour Assistance / SOLIDAR Suisse in Serbia
Managed a portfolio of projects related to the Social Dialogue / Labor Relations in municipalities. In
time, portfolio expanded to include national and sectoral projects such as metalworking industry and
construction. The project addressed important aspects of labor relations such as, social dialogue,
occupational health and safety, collective bargaining, informal economy and employability. The main
partners included local governments; trade unions; business associations, line ministries etc. Applied
the Project Cycle Management methodology throughout implementation. Managed an office of three
people and a network over 15 partner organizations.
