Senior Claim Handler, part of a 40 strong team, responding to household claims throughout the UK.
• Acting as a technical referral point for the claims team as a whole.
• Specialising in fraud investigation carrying out CUE searches under the Cache Minder
system.
• Providing a supportive and personal response to policy holders and identifying the best
outcome for both individuals and insurers, within the terms and conditions of the individual
policies. Following all regulatory and legal compliance requirements.
• Remaining calm and objective in stressful situations, managing customer’s expectations to
aid resolution.
• Managing multiple files concurrently, maintaining accuracy at all times and prioritise to keep
within our agreed SLA’s.
• Maintaining careful records by updating automated and manual entry databases. Proficient in
the use of the ICE on-line claims system, together with data entry to Xchanging Ins-sure
Services mainframe portal (ECF).
• Liaising regularly with Underwriters, Insurers and Service Providers.
• Household 100k Personal Delegated Authority - £400K Payment authority, on behalf of

• Experience in handling LIO/PIP/FTI claims, High Net-Worth Claims, Recoveries.

• Speaking to customers, managing their expectations and ensuring their claim is resolved
