industrial, military, hydraulics, railway, highway and in the last 20 years in the sector of “tunneling” and “mining” on the correct
use of special “resins” and related technologies for consolidation, repair and maintenance of masonry, concrete, iron and wood.
Is the author of numerous scientific publications and is always engaged in the study and development of “innovative materials”
and related techniques and technologies used.
The activity has always been aimed at the development of
its integrated structure with consultancy services in the
construction sector of large engineering works, aimed in
particular, in addition to mining and underground
construction activities, at the study for the determination of
the chemical - physical action effects - mechanical on
concrete, masonry, steel and wood and related
consolidating and protective treatments. The feasibility
study, the correlation between design and consultancy and
simple consultancy for:
- industrial, civil and military complexes;
- bridges and viaducts;
- hydraulic and maritime works;
- underground works;- recovery and conservation of
monumental works, concrete structures and masonry;

MAIN AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION
• restructuring, consolidation, recovery and conservation of
concrete, steel, wood and masonry [existing buildings,
bridges and viaducts, dams and hydro-thermoelectric
plants, petrochemical complexes, maritime constructions,
multi-storey and underground car parks, subways and
railways , railway and motorway hydraulic tunnels];
where it provides consultancy support, design and technical
assistance during construction to design studios, general

construction companies, industries, entities (public and
private sector) and companies in the sector, in direct
contact with technicians and executors, for study right from
the design stages, to the analysis of technical-economic
feasibility, to the correct choice of materials, to the
regulatory constraints, to the prevention and / or
intervention tools with related technologies and
methodologies in progress.
In particular, with the collaboration of some chemical
industries in the sector, in the following sectors of
specialization:
• in the mining sector [resins and bolts for injection for coal
and copper mines], that of tunneling and construction in
general: in the civil, industrial, military, hydraulic, railway
and motorway sectors, on the correct use of "resins" and
related "technologies" and "methodology" for the correct
use, in particular, during excavation in traditional tunnels
[NATM system] and with mechanized systems [for
underground transport, to block the presence of gas leaks
and groundwater underground aquifers as well as, the
study of particular additives for the "conditioning of the
soil" especially in the excavation phase], through modern
excavation systems using TBM-EPB type cutters.
Also for the consolidation, repair and safety of underground
reinforced concrete structures, as well as soils and rocks
[consolidation, stabilization and waterstoping].
• anti-corrosion, anti-wear and fire-resistant coating
systems for concrete, wood and steel [for industrial plants:
chemical, petrochemical, refining and offshore];
• particular waterproofing techniques, in addition to
traditional systems and / or prefabricated membranes and
/ or fairly well-known geomembranes and / or
geocomposites, by means of "synthetic resin formulations"
[Green] for civil and industrial roofing [roofs - terraces],
hydraulic works [ dams - canals - basins - piers - natural
water basins in earth and for drinking water], road and
railway works [decks and bridges - natural or artificial
tunnels], foundation works with particular attention to
environmental protection;
• in these long years I have also had to deal with
cementitious and resinous industrial flooring for adaptation
of the food sector according to the C.E.E. [hygienic-sanitary
provisions in the production and marketing of food
products and products of animal origin], for the chemical
and pharmaceutical industry, for the electronics industry,
for the metalworking industry, for car parks, hangars and
yards, garages, for hospital complexes [operating theaters -
diagnostic laboratories - physiotherapy rooms and large
endemic rooms] all in compliance with health and hygiene
requirements and safety regulations;
• moreover, I had to deal with the recovery of facades in
buildings of great historical and architectural value;
• as well as the restoration of old walls, subject to large
phenomena of condensation and / or capillary rising damp
[of underground structures] and stone materials, for the
maintenance and conservation of the existing building
heritage, of significant historical-monumental interest-
architectural.
