2. ACTIVITIES & SERVICES OF PRAGUE CITY GALLERY (GHMP)
FOR REFUGEES FROM UKRAINE
• entry to all GHMP exhibitions for CZK 1, accompanying events and educational programs for
children and adults for free
• translations of texts about GHMP objects and exhibitions into Ukrainian language
• special page in Ukrainian language on the GHMP website: https://www.ghmp.cz/ghmp-

• educational papers in Ukrainian language for children and schools to download and print

• permanent offer of educational activities – workshops + guided tours through exhibitions
• other types of educational activities - reading Ukrainian fairy tales, talks, debates,
discussions, lectures, etc.
• providing of spaces & buildings for organizing cultural or charity events for support of
Ukraine + other events (7 buildings, 2 studios)
• exhibition of works by artists from Ukraine "Invasion", Smíchovská naplavka, Kobka gallery,
curator: blogger Oksana Maslová from Odesa, part of the project „Art for the City“,
accompanying program and educational activities
3. • tours and workshops for Ukrainian single classes and groups of Ukraininan children
• Saturday workshops for families with children and the public (about 80% of visitors to these
events are Ukrainians) – 2-4 workshops for month
• a large number of camps for children from Ukraine – about 2-3 per day (sometimes 8 per day)
- mostly in the Troja Chateau, then in the Educational Center in the Colloredo-Mansfeld
Palace, in the Stone Bell House and in the Villa Bílek
• Summer art workshops – during July and August – workshops in the Eco-studio – daily
during the opening hours of the chateau, open studios for all age groups, 8-hours workshops,
a large number of ukr. families, 30-90 people daily, - visitors from 14 countries (Ukraine,
Germany, Slovakia, England, Poland, Russia, Belarus, Hungary, Italy, France, USA, Vietnam,
Spain, Denmark - most of it from Ukraine)
• Troja´s Grape Harvest - workshop with the topic of Ukrainian folk art with Ukrainian lecturer
• Art Book Fair GHMP – workshops with Ukrainian artists and lecturers GHMP – with the main
topic: books and art
• Creative Week - 7 days, 7 buildings, 7 exhibitions, 7 topics, 7 workshops (5-hour workshops,
large participation of visitors from Ukraine)
4. • Ukraine librarian at the Educational Center of GHMP in the Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace,
approximtely 130 books - books about art in Ukrainian - for visitors of workshops and events
(families with children, school groups)
• cooperation with external lectors and educators from Ukraine - translations of texts and
educational papers + guided tours during exhibitions and objects in Ukrainian language,
realization of guided tours and workshops (jobs for Ukrainian lectors), a team of approx. 5
external collaborators
• cooperation of GHMP in RefuFest - presentation of educational activities within the framework
of Integration of foreigners
• accommodation for Ukrainians refugees in the Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace
• some of the GHMP exhibitions connected with Ukraine (topics)
• ALL THIS PROVES THE IMPORTANT ROLE OF EDUCATION IN GALLERIES AND MUSEUMS -
for example, during the summer holidays, the galleries became the center of activities for
Ukrainian children

• tours of exhibitions and objects of GHMP for families with children, including senior citizens from
Ukraine
• walks through the public sculpture of the GHMP for families with children, including senior citizens from
Ukraine
• summer art workshops in the eco-studio in Troja Castle for families with children and the public,
including seniors
• interactive tours for school and interest groups integrating children from Ukraine + for Ukrainian first-
grade classes
• extraordinary events: Refufest, Trojské vinobraní, Art Book Fair, workshops within the Invasion
exhibition

• summer and winter workshops for children who lost their parents during the R-U
conflict in eastern Ukraine since 2014
• reading of Ukrainian fairy tales by their author to Ukrainian children from the
Ukrainian community in the Czech Republic

• discussion with wounded soldiers
• discussion with young activists supporting Ukraine's entry into the EU
