Software Engineer, Email Gateway – Based in Reading, Berkshire
The Email Gateway team is responsible for the ongoing development of Clearswift’s award winning SECURE Email &
Exchange Gateways. In order to continue to deliver these high quality solutions the team is currently looking to
recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Software Engineer.
• Experience of developing software for Linux platforms
• Experience of successfully delivering complex commercial Java/C++ applications

Team Leader (Engineering Services)– Based in Reading, Berkshire
The Team Leader within the R&D department is responsible for managing, leading and developing a team of
Software Engineers whose goal is to continue the ongoing development of Clearswift security products.
The Engineering Services team within R&D provide agile operational services to all software delivery teams. They
build and maintain hardware and software infrastructure for critical engineering services such as issue and task
tracking, software configuration management, build and test systems. Their goal is to ever improve engineering
practices and efficiencies for all R&D, via the maintenance and enhancement of key engineering resources and the
intelligent automation of build and quality processes in a Continuous Deployment environment.
• Lead the team to make and meet commitments to a consistently high level of customer service
• Tracking, reporting and delivering using measurable mechanisms for full stakeholder visibility.

Senior Software Engineer (Platform)– Based in Reading, Berkshire
The Platform team delivers the operating system, common utility libraries, console and installation/upgrade services that form the
foundation of the Clearswift product family. The team maintain the consistent provision of platform functionality across a range of
Operating Systems. Alongside delivery of the core platform services and libraries, this team also manages all aspects of product
installation and deployment ensuring the customer a flexible, reliable and trouble-free installation process across a variety of
physical, virtual and cloud deployment options.
• Working closely with other Engineers, Team Leads and Technical Architects to specify, design and build our next-generation
product architecture.
• Working closely with Product Owners to specify, plan, size and prioritise new features.
• Designing, coding & testing enhancements to the existing platform code-base to meet product roadmap commitments.
• Supporting the Team Lead, helping to develop and grow the team, recruit new staff and mentor/develop existing staff.

The Engineering Response Team (ERT) is responsible for the continued maintenance and support of Clearswift’s award winning
product set. The team works closely with our Support organization to investigate and resolve defects within the product, and also
to extend the capabilities of the products by adding customer requested features. The team is also responsible for managing
services required by the products when in use. In order to maintain their capability, the team is currently looking to recruit an
enthusiastic and motivated Software Engineer.
• Experience of successfully delivering complex commercial applications

The Documentation & Localisation team is responsible for the ongoing development of end-user technical documentation for
Clearswift’s award-winning suite of products. In order to continue to deliver this high quality documentation the team is currently
looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Technical Author & Japanese Translator.
• Creating clear, accurate and informative technical documentation that enables end-users to use Clearswift’s products
efficiently
• Working with the Product Owners and development teams to understand new product features to ensure that content is
factually correct
• Providing Japanese translation of English text to incorporate into the localised product and documentation

Regional Marketing Executive DACH/EU based in Reading,
Berkshire
The DACH/EU Regional Marketing Executive is responsible for creating,
managing and delivering innovative marketing campaigns to generate quality
sales leads within DACH and EU (primarily France) regions. This role is critical
to extend Clearswift’s pipeline and accelerate our sales and revenue growth.
The incumbent in this position will understand best practices and processes for
lead management, ensuring all marketing qualified leads are delivered to the
appropriate sales team at an acceptable ROI that tracks to our corporate goals.
You will work closely with your regional Sales Team members (based in both in
Germany and the UK) to accomplish lead generation, inbound and outbound
campaign management goals, and evaluate results to ensure that objectives
and operating
requirements are met.
The role will be based at our offices in Theale, UK, however candidates must
be prepared to travel to Germany at least once a quarter, and occasionally to
France or another country in the EU region.
