Horseshoe Road Superfund Site <ul><li>MHF transported 181,600 tons of Subtitle D non-hazardous, TSCA, TSCA/RCRA and RCRA (thermal) wastes from the Horseshoe Road Superfund Site in Sayreville, NJ, to four separate facilities via our private gondola railcars equipped with liners. MHF coordinated the rail logistics of an average of 900 tons of material per day from the origin to disposal outlets. </li></ul><ul><li>MHF provided an on-site Transportation and Disposal Coordinator to review waste manifests and waybills; coordinate with Class I railroad to ensure daily switching of railcars; oversee installation of railcar liners; attend daily site briefings; and provide client support. </li></ul>O

Heritage Environmental Services Private Generator; Paulsboro, NJ <ul><li>Under contract to Heritage Environmental Services, MHF provides a private fleet of gondola railcars, truck-to-rail transloading operations, and rail transportation for an estimated 40,000 tons of PCB-contaminated soils/sediments from the site of a private generator in Paulsboro, NJ, to Heritage’s facility in Indianapolis, IN. </li></ul>O

New Bedford Harbor Superfund Site <ul><li>MHF provides transloading via our Worcester facility, packaging, and rail transportation of TSCA and non-hazardous waste from the New Bedford Harbor Superfund Site </li></ul><ul><li>MHF transloads 200 to 300 tons per day with an estimated project life of 11 years and a volume of 450,000 tons </li></ul>O

MHF provides the rail logistics and railcar tracking for the concentrate shipments. </li></ul><ul><li>The concentrate transload facility is believed to be the first of its kind and accommodates the loading of two 52-foot, 109-ton gondola cars simultaneously. The copper concentrate is brought from the mine in fully enclosed side dump trucks. The building is secured to ensure that no contaminates can be released into the air, and the material is dumped onto a loading pad. From there, a front-end loader transfers the concentrate into the gondola cars, which are then securely sealed for the journey northeast to Canada. </li></ul>Newmont Mining Corporation Transload Facilities O
