• Growth is a supplementary word for Survival. So
if we have to survive, we must have steady
growth.
• Growth means, reaching to areas where help is
the most needed, to give and take Opportunities,
and lastly increase in membership.
• To increase membership, we have to identify the
target audience and pitch the right approach to
get them in as a member.

• Leo Movement has it all what a
youth of today wants. But…
Growth & Awareness
• Lions Clubs International is spreaded over
197 countries with 45,000 Lions Clubs
whereas we have only 5600 Leo clubs in
138 countries. This leaves us with more
space to grow, as Leo Clubs are not more
than 10% of what our Lions Community is,
so we have ample of opportunities in our
own organization for growth
Growth & Awareness
• First we need to create awareness in our own
organization, Majority of Lions are not aware
about the Leo Movement and of its Potentiality &
they are always under-utilized.
• We can start new Leo clubs in schools and in
colleges. This will increase the awareness and
will also increase the total strength of the
movement.
• Timely review of the functioning of the
organization will help in Retaining old members.
Growth & Awareness
• Publicise every event & activity in the local
newspaper, to create awareness to the
general public.
• Motivate our member to atleast bring 1
new member, rightly said by our
International President, Plus 1.

Leo 2015 – A Dream
• Leo movement will be Very interactive, lots of
Communication between Leos world wide.
• Thinking Out-of-Box will be Thought Leaders and
Entrepreneurs of tomorrow’s Leo Movement.
• Leo Movement will be Knowledge driven and I.T.
enabled.
• Leo is the best platform for youth for showcasing their
talent, developing their skills, helping the society much
more than the current levels
• the Leo Movement as a Stronger, Bigger and Powerful
'force' which is able to influence the minds of the people
Leo 2015 – A Dream
• A combination of 3M’s ie: Men, Money and
Motivation is a successful tool to influence the
minds of Leo.
• Every youth finding a chance to brighten up their
career and communication skills, like it is rightly
said "child is the father of man".
• Every youth is the leader of tomorrow.The
Tsunami a wave of LEOISM would hit the hearts
of youth.
Leo 2015 – A Dream
• Looking forward to great leaders who are
versatile and completely unique from others with
high thoughts and simple living
• .As childhood never die and Leo (child of lion) is
the only platform through which beyond age
limit, u can feel comfort & achieve what you
wants.
• Opening of Leo Clubs in will see a steep rise in
growth of Leo Movement.
Let’s Do It
• Awareness in Lions: Most of the Lions are not
aware about the Leo Movement and its
functioning.
Robust System for dues collection: Lions
District Governor has to remit the dues to the
Leo District and Leo Multiple for the Leo Clubs in
their district at the start of tenure and in turn
collect dues of Leos from the Sponsoring Lions
Clubs. This will amount to 100% collection of
dues.
Let’s Do It
Administrative Rights: Every Leo club
must have full administrative rights for the
proper & democratic functioning of the
club.
Let’s Do It
Leo Advisor: Appointment of a proper
Leo Advisor at all Levels. There has to be
a proper system of appointing a Leo
Advisor, as most of the Leo advisor’s are
not aware of the Leo Movement. There
has to be mandatory training / Schooling
for Leo Advisor’s.
Let’s Do It
• Incentives: Leo movement requires
incentive such that it can attract cream
de la cream of the society. The list is
long but the must needs are
1. Scholarships: Two scholarships of $2000 each
per year (for atleast two years) per multiple
should be provided to Leo members for the
higher studies either in their country or Abroad.
This will be a single biggest motivating factor
for a individual to join the Leo movement.

2.Grants: Empower the youth, but not only
with words, give some tools for
empowerment.
Grant is required in atleast in two forms :
P.R. grant of $1000 per Multiple per year
and another $1000 for any one event per
which involve more than 100 Leos

• Respect & Recognize the Leos: Respect
& due recognition must be given to Leos.
We understand that all Lions leader
require some sensitivity in dealing with
Leos, love them and respect them. When
need for manpower arises, Leos are the
1st to be called for, Then it is the duty to
give them due recognition & respect for
the same.
Let’s Do It
Hand-in-Hand: It should be mandatory
that Leos be invited to Board / Regular /
Cabinet meetings of the Lions at all level,
ie: Club, District & Multiple level and be
given an opportunity to give their reports &
share an event or problems with their
Parent chapter directly.
Let’s Do It
• Proper Organisational structure:
Formation of District & Multiple District
where we have more than 5 Leo clubs.
This will help in giving Opportunity to a
potential leader to develop his/her
Leadership skills & Experience
Organisational skiils.
Let’s Do It
• Leadership development institution:
There are lots of forum and institution
available which provide quality training to
Lions leader world wide. Like wise same
Institutes can be organised for Leos as the
outcome will be much better as the
potential age for practicing is much higher.

International Director for Leos. This will
help the leos to have effective
communication with the higher authorities
at International office.

So if we have to survive, we must have steady growth. • Growth means, reaching to areas where help is the most needed, to give and take Opportunities, and lastly increase in membership. • To increase membership, we have to identify the target audience and pitch the right approach to get them in as a member.

  • 12. Growth & Awareness • Lions Clubs International is spreaded over 197 countries with 45,000 Lions Clubs whereas we have only 5600 Leo clubs in 138 countries. This leaves us with more space to grow, as Leo Clubs are not more than 10% of what our Lions Community is, so we have ample of opportunities in our own organization for growth

Growth & Awareness • First we need to create awareness in our own organization, Majority of Lions are not aware about the Leo Movement and of its Potentiality & they are always under-utilized. • We can start new Leo clubs in schools and in colleges. This will increase the awareness and will also increase the total strength of the movement. • Timely review of the functioning of the organization will help in Retaining old members.
  • 14. Growth & Awareness • Publicise every event & activity in the local newspaper, to create awareness to the general public. • Motivate our member to atleast bring 1 new member, rightly said by our International President, Plus 1.

Leo 2015 – A Dream • Leo movement will be Very interactive, lots of Communication between Leos world wide. • Thinking Out-of-Box will be Thought Leaders and Entrepreneurs of tomorrow’s Leo Movement. • Leo Movement will be Knowledge driven and I.T. enabled. • Leo is the best platform for youth for showcasing their talent, developing their skills, helping the society much more than the current levels • the Leo Movement as a Stronger, Bigger and Powerful 'force' which is able to influence the minds of the people

Leo 2015 – A Dream • A combination of 3M’s ie: Men, Money and Motivation is a successful tool to influence the minds of Leo. • Every youth finding a chance to brighten up their career and communication skills, like it is rightly said "child is the father of man". • Every youth is the leader of tomorrow.The Tsunami a wave of LEOISM would hit the hearts of youth.

Leo 2015 – A Dream • Looking forward to great leaders who are versatile and completely unique from others with high thoughts and simple living • .As childhood never die and Leo (child of lion) is the only platform through which beyond age limit, u can feel comfort & achieve what you wants. • Opening of Leo Clubs in will see a steep rise in growth of Leo Movement.
  • 32. Let’s Do It • Awareness in Lions: Most of the Lions are not aware about the Leo Movement and its functioning. Robust System for dues collection: Lions District Governor has to remit the dues to the Leo District and Leo Multiple for the Leo Clubs in their district at the start of tenure and in turn collect dues of Leos from the Sponsoring Lions Clubs. This will amount to 100% collection of dues.
  • 33. Let’s Do It Administrative Rights: Every Leo club must have full administrative rights for the proper & democratic functioning of the club.
  • 34. Let’s Do It Leo Advisor: Appointment of a proper Leo Advisor at all Levels. There has to be a proper system of appointing a Leo Advisor, as most of the Leo advisor’s are not aware of the Leo Movement. There has to be mandatory training / Schooling for Leo Advisor’s.
  • 35. Let’s Do It • Incentives: Leo movement requires incentive such that it can attract cream de la cream of the society. The list is long but the must needs are 1. Scholarships: Two scholarships of $2000 each per year (for atleast two years) per multiple should be provided to Leo members for the higher studies either in their country or Abroad. This will be a single biggest motivating factor for a individual to join the Leo movement.
  • 36. Let’s Do It 2.Grants: Empower the youth, but not only with words, give some tools for empowerment. Grant is required in atleast in two forms : P.R. grant of $1000 per Multiple per year and another $1000 for any one event per which involve more than 100 Leos
  • 37. Let’s Do It • Respect & Recognize the Leos: Respect & due recognition must be given to Leos. We understand that all Lions leader require some sensitivity in dealing with Leos, love them and respect them. When need for manpower arises, Leos are the 1st to be called for, Then it is the duty to give them due recognition & respect for the same.
  • 38. Let’s Do It Hand-in-Hand: It should be mandatory that Leos be invited to Board / Regular / Cabinet meetings of the Lions at all level, ie: Club, District & Multiple level and be given an opportunity to give their reports & share an event or problems with their Parent chapter directly.
  • 39. Let’s Do It • Proper Organisational structure: Formation of District & Multiple District where we have more than 5 Leo clubs. This will help in giving Opportunity to a potential leader to develop his/her Leadership skills & Experience Organisational skiils.
  • 40. Let’s Do It • Leadership development institution: There are lots of forum and institution available which provide quality training to Lions leader world wide. Like wise same Institutes can be organised for Leos as the outcome will be much better as the potential age for practicing is much higher.
  • 41. Let’s Do It God Father: Appointment of a International Director for Leos. This will help the leos to have effective communication with the higher authorities at International office.
