Project Description
The new junior high school in Fife was
built in to house 809 students, 25
administration and 40 teachers.
Construction of the 93,000 square foot
facility started in July 2001 with final
completion in September 2003. The
facility consists of an administration
area, library, computer center, large
central commons and three classroom
wings. The school has two
gymnasiums, weight room, locker
rooms and full service kitchen.
Special classrooms include four
Science labs, band room, choir room
and large art facility. A central feature
of the project included a full auditorium
and stage facility to serve the school
as well as the community.
Mechanical systems include full
heating and air conditioning through a
four pipe system to individual air
handling units serving each zone.
The site includes a full track and
several playing fields along with a
concession stand.
