3. The Cameras that I used to take the images that I have used to take images
that I have featured in the music magazine that I have created are…

stabilization lens with automatic

4. Horseshoe Flash Trigger
Infra red signal sent to strobe flash – trigger the flash in-sync with the
camera shutter
(Speed set to 1/300th sec to match the strobe speed)

5. Hemisphere 300 – strobe flash
Dial on back of the flash adjusts the flash output
modeling light on. Auxiliary lights set to slave (triggered in-sync with by built in light
sensor)

6. Backdrop
The backdrop is lit with a further two strobe lights on full power to create a
high exposure, white background.
This means that when the photo is being edited it is easier to determine the
background from the main focus of the photo.

14. Photoshop
I have used Photoshop editing package to
compose my music magazine cover and
contents page.
I have done this by inserting images that I
have taken on a digital SLR camera and
have then removed the background using
a snipping tool. I have also created new
layers over the image to the add
aesthetically pleasing graphics that fit will
the over all aesthetic of the page and also
add text box layers to the page to create
the over all content of the pages.

15. Word Press
WordPress is a blog website that I have used to
present the work that I have done e.g. the
preliminary questions, the planning for my
music magazine, the market research that I
have done on music magazines, the finished
music magazine that I have created and also
the subject evaluation.
I have split my WordPress blog up into three
pages Home, which show cases all of the
prelim work that I have done before I created
my finished music magazine, Evaluation, this
represents all of the work that I did to create
my music magazine and the equipment and
techniques that I used, Finished Magazine, this
showcases my finished product of my music
magazine.

16. Google Chrome
Google chrome is the search engine
that I have used to do my market
research, access my WordPress blog,
upload my work that I have done
(Finished magazine, evaluation and
prelim questions) to my WordPress
blog.
I also have used Google Chrome as a
source of inspiration for my music
magazine and the content that has
been used in it.

17. InDesign
InDesign is the package that have used to create the
article for my music magazine on a landscape A3
page.
I have done this by inserting images that I have taken
on a digital SLR camera. I have also added
aesthetically pleasing graphics that fit will the over
all aesthetic of the page and also add text box’s to
the page to create the over all content of the pages. I
have also edited the manipulated the text in a way
that the text will surround an image instead of
moving underneath the image.
