normal operating conditions. Short
valve life results in lost production
time and high maintenance cost.
A good manufacturer designs
compressor valves based on
simulation of valve dynamics to
obtain both valve life and
compressor efficiency.
A computer simulation of valve
dynamics will;
Solve valve failure, such as
broken plates, springs.
Improve compressor
performance, reducing horsepower
or increasing capacity.
Reduce rod load and
discharge temperature.
Change or compare
different valve types and get better
compressor performance with
longer valve life.
