The Global Agenda for Social Work and Social
Development is a set of goals and priorities for the
international social work community. It was
developed by the International Association of
Schools of Social Work (IASSW) and the
International Council on Social Welfare (ICSW) in
collaboration with other international organizations
and social work associations.

8. The Global Agenda aims to promote social justice,
human rights, and social development, and to improve
the well-being of individuals, families, and communities
around the world. It is based on the belief that social
work has a unique and important role to play in
addressing social problems and improving the quality of
life for all people. The Global Agenda consists of six core
themes:.
