ONE SEMESTER, ½ Fine Art Credit

Students will gain an understanding of three-
dimensional art that deals with the clay
medium. Students design and build pottery
using traditional hand-building methods such as
slab, coil, and pinch pottery. Students are
expected to use their knowledge of the
elements of art and principles of design to solve
their three-dimensional problems in clay, as well
as develop the terminology related to the
ceramic medium.
