She dreads the three-hour solo trip because she gets lonely
and bored. She is afraid of accidentally falling asleep at the
wheel.
Dora wants a driving buddy to help pay for gas and chat with,
but all of her friends have cars, and they need to use them over
break.
4. Persona #2: Laura
Laura is a student at UMich and she needs a ride home for
winter break because she doesn’t have a car.
She would either need to hail an expensive Uber or ask her
parents to drive three hours and pick her up.
She feels safer riding with a fellow student instead of posting
on Craigslist, and she is more than willing to foot some of the
gas bill.
Posting on various message boards or asking friends of friends
is tedious, time-consuming, and often times unsuccessful.
