SEEKING MY FIRST CAREER ASSIGNMENT IN
CRIME SCENE TECHNICIAN
Please accept the enclosed resume. I have made the decision to look for a new job in a
responsible beginning-level area of forensic science and crime scene investigation. I have the
required skills you are looking for, and I am very willing to train further in order to help you
continue to meet objectives.
I have successfully completed my college training and have acquired a bachelor of science
degree within my specialty. I am now ready to begin my career.
With significant technical training within the forensic science specialization, I am confident in
my ability.
I also offer lengthy work experience that, while unrelated to my future direction, has taught me
the value of hard work, loyalty and attention to the tasks at hand. I have a work attitude second
to none. When I work for any employer, I always do my best.
If I am hired, you can count on me to get each assignment completed correctly.
Working for an employer like yours would be an ideal new situation. Career-oriented, I
will work very hard to protect my job, in order to protect my future. If you see fit to hire
me, you will be getting a dedicated employee with modern technical skills.
Can you use someone with my education and training? Currently employed, I could begin
working for you following the required two-week notice (although I might be able to start
sooner).
Please contact me to set up an interview. Thank you for considering me for a permanent job
with your organization.
