2. Improving the investigations of
cancer by mapping genes are
giving new hope for patients and
medical personal on how to treat
this and understanding that there
are many anomalies in the
genome than can cause cancer.
About the placenta, an amazing
utility is knowing what happens
with an specific gene that is vital
for the development of it and for
the fetus to grow healthy.
Both of these news show that
there is a lot to discover and to
understand yet but this shows
that mapping the genome can be
useful for the treatment of
diseases and how complex the
human body is because all the
time we are discovering amazing
things.

Genetic mapping consists in
doing a graphic
representation of the genes in
all of the chromosomes and
all of the DNA ,so we use the
term Genetic Marker.
Actually in the industry both
genetic
markers and
non-genetic
marker are
use.
The purpose
in this chart
is to
showing that through this
studies is posible to localize
the genes responsible of any
disease.
Cancer in now a ver common state
that many people are suffering
nowadays.
What did the authors
find?
They found that Hi-C
technique allows to map
genes in a lower cost.

Dr. Louise Harewood
explained that
chromosomal
rearrangements are seen
in majority of cancer
and this study can be
detrimental for the

Having new techniques

makes the identifying
