1. Define the term “Business law”. What are the different sources of Indian business law?
Discuss in brief the importance of law to business.
2. Is the registration of a Trade Union necessary? Write down the procedure of registration,
amalgamation, and cancellation of a trade union.
3. Define a contract of Indemnity. What are the essential elements of a contract of
Indemnity? What are the rights of Indemnity holder?
4. Define Bailment. What are the rights, duties, and liabilities of a bailee?
5. Explain the important aspects of Factory Act 1948 with special reference to Health,
Safety, and Welfare of the workers?
6. Who is an unpaid seller of goods and what are his rights against the goods? Has he any
remedy against the buyer personally.
7. Define contract. State essential elements of a valid contract.
