ORGANIZATION
Leaner Living is a company—and a concept—created by Dr. Karl Nadolsky and his brother Spencer
Nadolsky. Together, they are offering a lifeline for a healthier lifestyle with their philosophy for
exercise, eating right and meal replacement products. The brothers made names for themselves as
college wrestlers, then went on to pursue degrees as doctors. Based in Harrisonburg, VA, their
company sells their products online at LeanerLiving.com, in gyms and on retail store shelves.
CHALLENGE
Leaner Living faced the challenge of being a start-up looking for trusted vendors. The first label
printer the company used sold Leaner Living a high volume of labels at a relatively high price.
Delivery to the manufacturer was unpredictable, and the Leaner Living entrepreneurs felt they were
not being taken seriously—perhaps because they were a small account.
SOLUTION
The designer of Leaner Living's labels, Scott Kellen, was familiar with Labeltronix and the quality of
