Because of the simplified product selection process, sales within the 4-foot POG increased top line by 13% on a comp store basis and overall sales increased by 9%. The addition of an off-shelf promotional side stack display increased irrigation cement inventory by 8% but turned the inventory within two weeks. This led to a 30% sales increase. Combining tactics of consumer education and promotional displays create vast opportunities for increased inventory turns and sales.

An engaging pallet display, which conveyed that the hose reel was activated by water and not hand, helped turn a 40 store test into a chain-wide stock item. The powered motion displays attached to each pallet helped test stores sell out of product during the promotional time period, leading to a chain-wide order.
