Experience:
Louise has extensive experience as an adult trainer and facilitator with the airlines, tertiary
education, and in the corporate arena for over 14 years. Louise initially joined ATI-Mirage in 2008
as a training consultant, became full time staff at the start of 2009, and carried out the dual roles of
professional development trainer/ consultant for the HR Solutions and Manager HR Solutions
business unit for 12 months. Louise has now returned to full-time training and develops our new
courses, customises training and facilitates learning in a wide range of subjects. Her interests lie
primarily in performance improvement, motivation and encouraging people to reach their full
potential
Louise has also recently been working with ECU’s School of Management as sessional staff for
post-graduate courses in Training and Development and in HR Management. Before that, Louise
lectured at Diploma level at TAFE for five years.
Louise worked with the airlines for 13 years, both in UK and Australia, as flight attendant, cabin
manager, and trainer, and has been through an emergency Mayday situation. This incident led to
her being involved in the creation of an internationally used CRM training video. Louise is very well
travelled; first class trained, speaks French, has studied cross-cultural psychology at university, and
is a senior first aider, fire warden and has been a safety representative. On a more personal level,
Louise is very customer focussed, loves anything to do with food and wine and spends most of her
free time sourcing ingredients and cooking for friends. Previous to flying Louise was a beauty
therapist and had her own practice in Brighton in the UK.
