Narrative description of Project:
Re-structure GMG Airlines Engineering Department. Prior Staff in Turkey overseeing MD-80 check
removed. Procedures and policies to be put in place to strengthen all safety and quality aspect of the
airlines operation. Tachyon has also traveled to Bangladesh to access their operations and make the
necessary recommendations to executive staff. While being downgraded by ICAO and the CAAB, we
have been tasked to improve the company’s engineering standards, which will ensure GMG acceptance
to operate Internationally.
Description of actual services provided by your staff within the assignment:
Conduct audits of MNG Facilities and Staff
Oversee and direct heavy maintenance check for MD 80 GMG Airlines Aircraft.
Liaison with Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh for re-issuance of aircraft’s Certificate of
Airworthiness. Facilitate his Inspection, and correct issues and findings.
Manage Parts procurement and logistics for Turkey operation and Dhaka, Bangladesh operations.
Audit GMG’s Dhaka operations, and make recommendations for corrections to problems found.
Safety and Quality oversight.
