Per prima cosa si deve iniziare dalla

scelta del materiale con cui è realizzato un guantone;
i guantoni in vera pelle sono molto più resistenti e una volta indossati si
uniformano perfettamente alla mano.
Secondo aspetto da valutare è il tipo di chiusura; i guantoni con il velcro sono adatti per gli allenamenti
in palestra. Il velcro permette una maggior velocità di chiusura e quindi di utilizzo. I guantoni con
i lacci sono invece specifici per il combattimento, in genere è il coach che aiuta il fighter ad
indossarli e a legarli in modo che i guanti siano ben stretti.
Il peso del guantone inoltre è fondamentale. I guantoni da 6 once sono adatti per i giovani fighters
mentre gli 8 once vengono utilizzati per incontri tra professionisti di peso inferiore ai Welter.
I guantoni 10 once sono i più utilizzati in gara e in allenamento si usano durante le passate con il maestro.
In ultimo, i guantoni da 12, 14, 16 e18 once sono specifici per lo sparring e devono essere scelti in base
al proprio peso; quanto maggiore è il tuo peso tanto maggiore dovranno essere le once dei tuoi guantoni.
E’ sempre consigliabile comunque chiedere un parere al proprio maestro!

Dall’età di 18 anni trascorre la sua vita tra
la Colombia, l’Italia e il Brasile.
Durante i suoi continui spostamenti
conosce il Valetudo e perfeziona la tecnica
di Jiu Jitsu. Inizia ben presto a combattere
e quando l’eco delle sue vittorie giunge
alle orecchie degli organizzatori dell’UFC,
gli propongono di essere il primo italiano
ad avere la possibilità di combattere
nell’ottagono più famoso del mondo.
Da allora è entrato a far parte nell’elite dei
combattenti di MMA.

Armen Petrosyan (Yerevan, 6 novembre
1986) vive a Gorizia e si allena con il
maestro Alfio Romanut e il fratello
Giorgio. Combatte nei più importanti
circuiti internazionali, ama scherzare
nella vita ma sul ring non scherza affatto.

Armen Petrosyan (Yerevan, 6 novembre
1986) lives and trains in Gorizia with Alfio
Romanut and his brother Giorgio. He fights in
the most important international tournament,
he likes joke in life, but on the ring he doesn’t
joke at all.
Chingiz Allazov nasce a Minsk,
Bielorussia il 10 giugno 1993. Si avvici-
na alla muay thai all’età di 12 anni nella
Chinuk Gym dove tutt’ora si allena. Ini-
zia presto a combattere in Thailandia e
da allora non si è più fermato entrando
a far parte dei maggiori cicuiti inter-
nazionali. Il suo motto è “Never back
down!”.
