Working together to make CLHS a cut above the rest & trying to reach
more students more effectively while meeting the goals of CLHS.
Central Lee 1:1 Committee
Working together with staff and administration to come up with an effective plan
for implementing the 1:1 laptop program through communication, collaboration,
critical thinking, creativity, and innovation.

Member of the Continuous School Improvement Committee for past two years.

1:1 Conference
Attended the 1:1 Conference several times in order to bring new advances back to
Central Lee.

Member of the HS Parent Advisory Group and help present at the quarterly
meetings.
District Level Computer Technician
Assist in the implementation and upkeep of the district's computer, laptop,
Promethean, and projector inventory. Work for the district outside of school
hours, throughout the year, and in the summer.

CL District Technology Committee Member
Member of the district technology committee. Attends meetings throughout the
school year after school hours to discuss current tech issues at CL and to keep the
district moving forward.
CLEA Negotiations Committee - Finance Manager
Responsible for the CLEA's Excel Spreadsheet that contains all the financial
information for the district.
NHS Co-Sponsor
Helps to coordinate meetings and activities for National Honor Society for the
past 5 years.
Middle School Science Fair Advisor
Assists middle school students (and some high school students) with their Science
Fair Projects in preparation for the local fair, Culver Stockton, Eastern Iowa, and
the State Science Fair in Ames. In charge of the statistical analysis of the
student's data and help them better understand their results .
2006 Teacher of the Year - Democrat
Selected as the Daily Democrat Teacher of the Year.
2006 Teacher of the Year - Hawkeye
Selected as the Burlington Hawkeye / Catfish Bend Teacher of the Year.
RBAC Member
Southeast Iowa Regional Business Advisory Council Member. Members of the
group are area business members (2-3 people per school), and the area business
teachers.
2010 SSTFI Hall of Fame
Selected as a member of State Science & Technology Fair of Iowa's Hall of Fame
for outstand and continued support of science fair students and researchers.
2012 Excellence in Education Nominee
Sponsored by the Iowa State Education Association - ISEA for excellence in and
