Savannah Asian Cultural Festival Announces
Call for Performers, Vendors and Volunteers
SAVANNAH, Ga. (October 26, 2015) – The Savannah Asian Cultural Festival, which will take
place April 15-16, 2016 at Armstrong State University, is currently seeking live performers,
Cultural Marketplace vendors and event volunteers.
There is no cost for performers to participate. All vendors must be consistent with the theme of
the festival. The cost for vendors is $85 per booth.
The festival’s Cultural Marketplace will offer the opportunity to learn more about each country
and discover the traditional arts, crafts, fashions and treasures unique to each nation. From Ming-
shared jewelry to calligraphy sets, original paintings, hand-beaded clothing, Asian accessories
and henna body painting, an entire continent’s worth of treasures can be found at the festival.

ABOUT THE SAVANNAH ASIAN CULTURAL FESTIVAL:
The Savannah Asian Cultural Festival is presented by the City of Savannah Department of
Cultural Affairs and Armstrong State University. The festival brings the continent of Asia to
coastal Georgia by celebrating the rich diversity of the area through featuring unique cultures,
cuisine, live performances and more. The festival will offer a Cultural Marketplace as well as
samplings from local restaurants including a selection of regional favorites from Polynesia,
