1. THE NEW LABOUR ECONOMICS DUE TO THE
COVID-19
Dr. Mukesh Kumar Mishra1
ABSTRACT:
There is urgently needs for new
labour economic system. Demand for divert
the governmental welfare schemes for
promotion of local job mechanism system,
so that availability of work
opportunities for a person who moves from
one place to another, especially in order
to find work or better living conditions
at every village. Develop and invest on
agricultural and small industries program
at each village and panchayat(s) for
controlling the migrant workers including
their family betterment at their home
place itself, which will directly support
the urban development or cities
development program.
Cut down other welfare schemes
running by government where still lots of
corruptions are only due to local
administration and panchayati level that
are responsible for unsuccessful
implementation of the governmental
schemes and misuse the government’s
funds. So without any new governmental
budget, just diverts some schemes or
funds for opportunities in local job
activities. This will enhance their life
at their native place, sustainability and
will support the migration problem
permanently.
The present working situations
for migrant labour is under pain and fail
for sustainability of their live hoods
even for few days.Thousands of migrant
labourers who are walking hundreds of
kilometres to their hometown without food
and shelter in the wake of a 21-day
nationwide lockdown prompted by the
Covid-19 outbreak only due to their
instability even after long time.
