• Sand casting using medium frequency electric induction
furnace
• Raw material used: cast iron scrap
• Core baking using natural gas: 1000 cores per 8 hours
• Casting: 15 units/hour
• Shot blasting: 15 mins /batch. 1 batch=15 units.

6. Shot Blasting is Done
15 minutes per batch of 15 units
Sand Mould is Broken Away and Casting is Removed
15 units in one hour
Mould is Cooled
Mould Cavity is Filled with Molten Metal
Upper and Lower Molds are Joined(assembled Molds)
Pattern is Removed
Core is Baked
1000 cores per 8 hour
Sand is Placed in Pattern to Create a Mould.
