A little pretty girl Sammie (Elizabeth
Billson) have not leave her room for
2 years and his dad Jason (Tom
Carter) invited David (Tobias
Nicholls) from a local paper to have
a interview with Sammie to write
about Sammie story.
HOME is a spine tingling short film,
audience gripping thriller ride with
a few unexpected twists and turns
along the way.
The film replicates the well known
director Holly Littlefair's style and her
special ability to show Sammie a new
perspective of the dull and
monotonous life is very captivating.
Moreover, Holly did a fantastic and
cleaver decision on it, as she put the
interview voiceover at the end so that
audience can understand why Sammie
hasn't leave her room for 2 years.
However, HOME isn’t a very success
film, as some shots by shots are bit
dead and the quality wasn't too good
as well. I would say the highest quality
would be only 480p which makes me
reduce lots of marks in here.
Especially in some medium close up of

faces, there are some blur squares you
can see it.
Audience are treated to some fine
acting especially from Tom Carter who
plays Jason with a real worrying of his
daughter and painful scream. Every
moment Jason is on screen, it shows he
is treating Sammie fine but we can see
he is hiding something and his reacting
to some of speech impaired are
a sight to behold.
Not one of Holly Littlefair’s best film
produced. Maybe stay tuned for next
one?!
But take your risk if you wish…
