Weekly Progress
In last week, I studied about operation of magnetron. Magnetron is a device to changing the high
voltage to microwave power. Magnetron consists of the magnetron cathode anode and permanent
magnet Antenna.
Magnetron starting with a low voltage AC power for about 3-4 volts, 10 amperes of current to the
filament causes electrons run out, when the high voltage to the cathode. It makes the electron motion
by influence of electric and magnetic field permanently. This makes a voltage rise. If the voltage
reaches a certain height, it will not come out through the Antenna Microwave wave generated by the
magnetron frequency to vary. Depending on the structure inside the vacuum between the anode and
cathode. The magnetron frequency as 915 MHz, 2,450 MHz.

Engineering Analysis
Strong Point
- We can design control circuit, when we know working of magnetron.
- We know about detail of magnetron.
Weak Point
- It can’t test, because this is dangerous for people.
Next Week Job
- We will design circuit and calculate values of resistor.
