Letter of recommendation – Kirsten Meier:
I have worked wirh Kisten Meier in her capacity as Head of Production for SWIPE
(FCB’s Specialist Retail Agency) and 1886 (FCB’s soecialist BTL agecny) for a 5-year
period from April 2009 to April 2014.
During this time, I was the General Manager for SWIPE & 1886 and the clients we
managed during this 5-year period includes: Vodacom Retail Marketing, ESKOM,
UNISA, Beiersdorf and the Blue Bulls Rugby Union.
Kirsten’s role as Head of Production was pivotal to our ability to ensure that the high
volume of worked we produced on a monthly basis (sometimes up to 380 produced
jobs per month) went to market on time without compromising on quality and
always seeking efficiencies.
Her ability to build and forster long-term business partnerships with both print and
electronic suppliers has had a major impact on our abilitiy to successfully manage a
large volume of work. Further to her strong supplier relationships, Kirsten also forged
a strong working relatoinship with the respective client’s procurement departments
and or cost consultants.
As a manager, Kirsten always nutured and grew her direct reports to the exetend
that a number of them now hold important production roles at South Africa’s best
known agencies.
Kirsten is a real professional and she is one of the easiest people I ever had to
manage. That, coupled with a passion for life and a great sense of humour makes
