3. INTRODUCTION
Touch screen displays are ubiquitous world wide
Frequent touching a touch screen display can
ultimately lead to failure of the touch screen
To avoid this a simple user interface for Touch less
control of electrically operated equipment is being
developed.
It is developed by Elliptic Lab
4. WHAT IS TOUCH SCREEN ?
A touch-screen is an electronic visual display that the
user can control through simple or multi-touch gestures
by touching the screen with a special stylus/pen and-or
one or more fingers.
The touch-screen enables the user to interact directly
with what is displayed, rather than using a mouse ,
touchpad, or any other intermediate device
5. TOUCHLESS TOUCHSCREEN USER INTERFACE
A simple user interface for Touchless control of
electrically operated equipment is being developed by
Elliptic Labs
This technology lets you control our gadgets like
Computers, MP3 players or mobile phones without
touching them.
This unique screen is made by TouchKo, White
Electronics Designs, and Groupe 3D.
6. It works by detecting your hand movements in front
of it.
This system depends on hand and or finger motions, a
hand wave in a certain direction
The sensor can be placed either on the screen or near
the screen
7. The device is based on optical pattern recognition
using a solid state optical matrix sensor with a lens to
detect hand motions
This sensor is then connected to a digital image
processor, which interprets the patterns of motion
Outputs results as signals to control fixtures,
appliances, machinery, or any device controllable
through electrical signals
8. WORKING
Requires a sensor but the sensor is neither hand
mounted nor present on the screen
The sensor can be placed either on the table or near
the screen.
The sensor can recognize the position of an object
from as 5 feet
System is capable of detecting movements in 3D
without ever having to put your fingers on the screen
9. Sensors are mounted around the screen that is being
used, by interacting in the line-of-sight of these
sensors the motion is detected and interpreted into
on-screen movements.
Just point at the screen (from as far as 5 feet
away),and you can manipulate objects in 3D.
Gestures are translated into screen commands
10. TOUCH SENSOR
Touch sensor is a clear glass panel with a touch
responsive area.
It is placed over a display screen
12. APPLICATIONS
Touch less monitor
Touch less user interface
Touch less SDK
Touch less demo
Touch wall
13. TOUCHLESS MONITOR
This monitor is made TouchKo
Our hand doesn’t have to come in contact with the
screen at all, it works by detecting your hand
movements in front of it.
Point your finger in the air towards the device and move
it accordingly to control the navigation in the device
Designed for applications where touch may be difficult,
such as for doctors who might be wearing surgical
gloves
