5. The reason that I chose to do print rather then do a film was because I felt that I was better suited to creating a magazine then a film as I did Art for two years so I knew a little bit about Photoshop before I started. I also chose to do a magazine because of my lack of knowledge with the editing software on the Mac computers.

7. Smiley is my personal mascot I’ve included him on count pieces of work from ADLK to History since I created him, so its only fair that I put him some where on my Blog. Smiley
9. The reason I chose to do my front cover in this design Was to make my magazine stand out from the conventional rock magazines of this era and attract the reader with offers of free merchandise e.g. free posters I used Bright coloured text on the front cover so that the text would stand out on the black background. I selected the colours Red, Yellow and Blue as they match the colours of the main image in the centre of the page. I used my skull Ident on the cover to let the reader know it is my magazine that they are reading . Front Cover
10. Content Page The Reason I chose this design for my content page was it worked with the rock genre of the magazine and it is clear to read. I changed the colour gradient of the background so that the writing was easier to read. I added more detail to the skulls so they would standout better. I added these photos to make my magazine more compatible with the other magazines in the Genre.
11. Double Page Spread The reason I chose this design for my double page spread was because I found most double page spreads had ether writing in boxes or writing in columns I chose to us boxes as I thought that it would allow me to have the necessary writing but still keep my main picture in relatively good condition. I used my skull ident throughout my magazine as I feel it gives my magazine a personalised feel as I draw the ident my self.
12. My magazine is set up similar to existing rock music magazines you can purchase today. But I've including some big differences to grab the attention of the target audience. My magazine challenges the forms and conventions as it is more about the instruments then the musician playing them. My magazine develops the forms and conventions of existing magazines as I used bits and pieces of the magazines I liked but edited to make my final design. 1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? (i.e. of music magazines)
13. My magazine represents a new age of Music magazine that doesn’t just focus on the obscene day to day lives of musicians and their families like a stalker ‘s dairy, but focuses more on the heart of music itself the instruments. It maybe the people that play the instruments that get all the fame and riches but without their instruments and the people that craft them those musicians would be nothing but crazy people shouting nonsense. 2. How does your media product represent particular social groups ?
14. Kerrang , a well known and respected rock magazine producer might be interested in my concept. As my magazine is a new form of music magazine that is set up like the normal magazines but is focused more on the instrument then the musician playing it. I also believe that any of the big Distributaries would be interested in my magazine as it is a fresh and exciting new idea that has given me great enjoyment creating it and hopefully would do the same for the readers. 3. What kind of media Institution might distribute your media product and why?
15. I selected the target audience using a class pole to see who liked my magazine and a questionnaire that help me determine what kind of people and what age group was most likely to buy my Magazine if it was ever mass produced by a local or global distributor. The target audience for my magazine was teenagers and other fans of rock music. But I would recommend my magazine to any fans of musical instruments as that is one of the main focuses of my magazine. 4. Who would be the audience for your media product?
16. I used the Bright colours on the cover to attract readers at first glance. I also used the Ident on the cover to attract my target audience . I used lots of images coupled with text on the cover to address the audience and tell them what was going to be in my magazine and what offers I included such as free posters etc. 5. How did you attract/address your audience?
17.
18. How to Edit films on the Mac computers in my media room for this evaluation.
19. How to analyse and magazines and text using the grid method.6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
20. 7. Looking back at your preliminary task (the continuity editing task), what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to full product? I feel that my progression from preliminary to best product I have learnt that learnt alot about the how to get the best out of the equipment and technologies I have used. I have also learnt many of the rules and regulations of the media department such as return your camera first thing in the morning if you took it home. If I was allowed to I would my product each time I found something new on Photoshop or learnt how to do something Rock' in with paint or word. If anything I’m going to miss working on this project but then again I still have all my copies I made so I will never for get it.
